Setup 1
Album of all roles
Team compositions
The setups shown are the four main roles in a CM team. You compose your team with:
● 1 prepper
● 1 freezer (Trios and 5 mans might forgo this role for a venger or extra surger)
● 1-3 surgers
● The rest of the team as vengers
Advice/Info
● The surger(s) bring(s) Law runes to also cast Telekinetic grab on the Keystone crystal dropped by the crosser. They also bring Mist runes to cast Water surge to free people from the flame walls.
● The surger can bring a Harmonised nightmare staff if they opt to use purple sweets only for the raid. This will be used alongside the Sanguinesti staff (used at Olm).
● The prepper has 12 water runes in order to cast Humidify 4 times to fill the vials. The combination of Astral, Death, Lava and Water runes is the most cost effective way to have Humidify and Vengeance to their disposal.
● The prepper takes extra Lockpicks so there will never be a shortage on Lockpicks at the thieving room or extra time spent at the Scavengers.
● The team has a total of 4 Anglerfish to pick up all the 4 potion drops immediately after Tekton. The prepper takes more Anglers as he will hold more potions during Scavengers.
● In all setups, you can substitute a Blowpipe for extra supplies or Harmonised nightmare staff (as surger).
● In all setups, if you do not have a Lizardman task, you have to replace the Slayer helm (i) with an Armadyl helmet.
● At least 1 player has a BGS to drain defence after the DWH has landed against Tekton and Olm hand.
● When opting to chop the Muttadile tree, bring chinchompas instead of Zamorak godsword to tag the rangers for rope skip.
Walkthrough
Prepot Divine super combat, make sure you are at 121 hp and your entire team is venged. Optionally, you can pre-anti if you don’t wanna use Sanfew serums.
Tekton:
Spec order:
- BGSer: 1 scythe, 2 bgs
- Other BGSer: 1 dwh, bgs
- 1 dwh, 1 scythe, 1 claw
Veng the boss as much as possible without dying.
The people with Anglers in their inventory eats the Anglers and then pick up whatever potion they can fit. Let the prepper take the overload and revitalisation.
Crabs:
Do these as normal
Scavengers/Ice Demon:
The team collectively kill scavengers till they have 2 planks, then they make the chest and the choppers can start chopping the required amount of kindlings.
The rest of the team will collect enough secondaries for the entire raid. 9 brews, 4 restores, an enhance per person is usually more than enough. Make sure you put in the exact amounts in to the chest so people know what has to be made.
For a 5 man, work with 52 water vials. You can make about 30-32 brews, 18-20 restores, 2 enhances with this. Keep in mind you have to use the base Vanguard potions for this. If you are new to this and feel uncomfortable with these supplies, you can make 1 more inventory of potions (add: 1 ovl, 5 restores for a total of 25 restores and the rest brews)
This means you’ll need 30-32 juice, 18-20 mushroom and 2 cicely if you go with 52 vials. If you go with more inventories of vials, add more secondaries accordingly. If you get lockpicks whilst getting the secondaries, pick them up for the team but don’t stay at scavengers for it if you don’t happen to get them (the prepper has some lockpicks in their inventory for this).
If you opted for a no freezer role in your team (usually in a trio), pick up multiple axes for the Muttadile room.
If Ice demon is defeaten, but there isn’t enough secondaries collected yet, the prepper will stay and collect the remaining secondaries.
Shamans:
Do these as normal, minimize damage taken because you’ll need the supplies at Vanguards.
Prep/Vanguards:
The prepper will prep the aforementioned supplies while the team do Vanguards and Thieving. The prepper should always prioritise picking the herbs and vials first, because these are the supplies the rest of the team can’t assist you with unless you have a dedicated role for that.
The player with the most brews should do the Mage vanguard. The player on freezes does the melee vanguard and the rest can decide which one they can be on, as long as the DPS is evenly spread. Make sure you don’t make the melee vanguard deaggro you, causing it to wander off to your teammates. Once every vanguard is below the threshold to kill, pile the mage vanguard to reduce as much damage taken from the person who does the Mage vanguard.
Thieving:
The amount of grubs needed depends on your team. This is what you need for each team size:
3s: 47
4s: 63
5s: 79
6s: 65
7s: 111
8s: 127
9s: 143
Communicate how many grubs you’ve deposited, try and mix as much potions as you can during downtime.
Vespula:
Try to no poke it, otherwise have one player feed the grubs ASAP. Do redemption method.
Tightrope:
To clear tightrope as fast as possible without much damage taken you need three roles:
- Crosser
As the name implies, will cross the rope when it’s safe to do so. The other team members will take the aggro most if not all deadly rangers and magers. After picking up the crystal, they will then drop it within line of sight of the grabber for them to tele grab. Crosser can recross once the door is tagged. - Grabber
The grabber will use Telekinetic Grab on the Keystone crystal once it’s dropped by the crosser, then immediately opens the barrier so the deadly rangers and magers die. - Range tagger
The tagger will aggro all the rangers by casting a barrage, throwing chins or by hitting them with a blowpipe.
Other players can attack the deadly magers to tank them and get a little bit of extra points.
Last floor:
- For the last floor, do them as normal but make sure you are venged and high HP for Vasa. Communicate venges.
- If you don’t have a freezer, make sure everyone has an axe for Muttadile
Olm:
Do Olm as normal. Mage set and mage skip ASAP to maximize DPS. Switch roles mid olm if needed.
