Thammaron’s sceptre

Thammaron's sceptre (u) detail.png

Thammaron’s sceptre is a powered staff once owned by Thammaron, a Tsutsaroth demon who was once one of Zamorak’s most trusted allies during the reign of Zaros and later one of his key generals during the God Wars. It can be received as a drop from revenants found within the Revenant Caves. This item counts as a Zamorakian item in the God Wars Dungeon.

The sceptre requires a Magic level of 60 to wield, and shares the same magic attack bonus as the trident of the seas. It also has a powerful passive effect within the Wilderness when charged with revenant ether. In addition, unlike other powered staves, the sceptre can also attack players outside of minigames.

Players can dismantle an uncharged sceptre to receive 7,500 Revenant ether, resulting in 1,320,000 and a loss of −5,306,208 coins.

Accursed sceptre detail.png

The accursed sceptre is an upgraded variant of Thammaron’s sceptre, requiring level 70 in Magic to wield. It is created by combining Thammaron’s sceptre with the Skull of Vet’ion. This process requires level 85 Crafting, and is not reversible; players without the required level to combine the items may ask Andros Mai in Ferox Enclave to do so instead, for a fee of 500,000 coins.

The sceptre is identical in function to Thammaron’s sceptre, but with increased stats and a special attack.

The sceptre also has a “Swap” option that allows players to switch it to an accursed sceptre (a), which is a variant that can autocast offensive combat spells from the standard spellbook and Ancient Magicks.
