We’re thrilled to announce the next stages of Project Zanaris!Project Zanaris is GO, and behind the scenes our team has been hard at work implementing the core experience. We’ve still got some work to do, but we’re not too far off inviting you to join us on this exciting journey – including in upcoming playtests!

For now, let’s take a look at what we showcased during RuneFest 2025!

 

Gamemodes & Parameters
As you saw from our trailer, the team have been coming up with new and interesting ways to test the possibilities of Project Zanaris. Rat King and Falador Fight Club are just the start! We’ll continue to experiment with different ideas to create interesting new parameters and give you more and more customisation options.

We already have over 400 parameters for you to customise your worlds with, and there are many more to come. In the coming months the team will be working closely with you all to understand what parameters you’d like to see on the list.

We’ve already had some great ideas, and we’ll have more to share soon, but for now here are some of the parameters from our showcase:

  • A subset of Leagues Relics and Perks
  • Infinite Run Energy
  • Infinite Ranged Ammo
  • XP Multipliers
  • Infinite Shop Stock
  • Damage Increased against NPCs
  • Damage Increased against the Player
  • Permanently Skulled
  • Starting Quests, Gear and Skills
  • Reset Character Save on Death
  • Region Locking
  • Resource Respawn Rates

RuneFest Developer Panel
RuneFest attendees will get to join Mods Sarnie, Default, TJ and Tomb for the Project Zanaris Developer Panel! This exclusive first look will walk attendees through the World Creation process and answer some of your burning questions.

If you’re not attending RuneFest this year, don’t worry – we’ll record the panel and post it here for your viewing pleasure. Watch this space…
