Walkthrough

 

A Tale of Riches

1. Speak to Explorer Jack about Myths of the White Lands. He will tell you about his meeting with a snow imp and tales of riches in the Land of Snow, specifically dark, sleek stones. He asks you to get some of these stones for his collection.

2. Head over to the Wizard’s Tower and go down to the bottom floor. Speak to Isidor who is located in the southwestern room. He teleports you to the Land of Snow.

3. Step south, east, then north and finally east again to end up in front of the cave entrance. Squeeze through the entrance to enter the first of a series of six rooms.

5. Room 2

To get 2k Crafting xp take the following path. (Requires 30 Crafting, Hammer and Chisel)

Then study the wall. Now to get back to the exit take the following path.

To just go straight to the next room use this path.

Now to continue to the next room go southeast but if you want to get 10k Agility xp (Requires 55 Agility) take the following path.

Climb the roots and study the wall to get 10k Agility xp.

To get to the next room climb back down the roots and take the following path.

8. Room 5

9. Room 6

Start by heading east, straight through to the seventh room. The yeti will yell at you loud enough to send you back while also shaking the stone blocks in the sixth room loose. Now you need to push these stone blocks into the northern ledge so you can walk across it.

Now for the second stone block.

10. Now you need to go back to the Room 5.

11. Now take the following path.

  • North

Squeeze through the crevice and continue east along the edge. To get 20k Woodcutting xp study the wall south of the next crevice. (Requires 80 Woodcutting and Hatchet). Then continue east through the crevice.

12. Study the wall to the south of the crevice to enable you to shout into the pipe. Shout into it and yeti will faint.

Now go back west through both of the crevices. Slide west, southeast and then east to enter room 6. Go east to enter the room with the yeti in it. Pick up the stones and slide west.

Then select exit cave on the archway to leave the cave.

Pranked..

13. Three snow imps are waiting for you outside and explain that they’ve played a prank on you and Explorer Jack. The precious stones are in fact yeti dung. However they want to trick Explorer Jack so they enchant the dung for you so it’ll only start smelling after you’ve given it to him. Return to Lumbridge by either teleporting or taking the following path.

Speak to Explorer Jack and you can choose either to continue the prank or tell him about it. Either way you’ll complete the quest.

  • Log out then in after completing the quest and speak to Explorer Jack to receive 5,000 coins as your share of the sale of the yeti dung.
  • You can return to the Land of Snow by talking to Isidor in the Wizard’s Tower.
