Setup 2
Twisted bow Ancient – Blood, Death, Soul
Notes:
• Adjust potions to where you feel comfortable.
• Make sure to have a zamorak item.
• You can preserve your run energy by walking after the boss dies and also by walking certain tiles (shown in the video down below)
• Optional: Imbued heart, Explorer’s ring to alch, Occult.
Setup 3
Bow of faerdhinen Ancient – Blood, Death, Soul, Water
Notes:
• Adjust potions to where you feel comfortable.
• In this picture I’m using my cape as a zamorak item, it’s a free and easy item to get for lower level ironmen.
• You need a cannon base for the 8:0 bowfa method to red-x.
• Downgrade gear where necessary example: Zaryte vambraces > Barrows gloves / Ring of the gods > Ring of suffering.
Setup 4
Arclight (beginner/first spear) Ancient – Blood, Death, Soul
Notes:
• It is highly recommended to get the Bow of faerdhinen before doing GWD.
Downgrades:
Karil’s -> Void robe bottom/d’hide body
Primordial boots -> Dragon boots
Amulet of Torture -> Amulet of Fury/Glory
Kodai wand -> Nightmare staff -> Master wand/Ancient staff
Other Information
Advice/Info:
• Sanfews and Antidotes are only used if you make a mistake and take a hit from the boss, as you get more comfortable you can take less/more antidote potions.
• K’ril has a special attack that rolls on a tick cycle from 1-7. If his attack rolls on the same tick as the cycle he will use his special. Therefore if you do 2:0 (step under method) and stay under for longer to eat he does have a chance of rolling 2 specials on a player b2b. If on the other hand you are flicking and stay within LOS you will never be hit with a special 2 times in a row.
• Flicking the range minion is a very good compromise to flicking all 3 as most of the damage you will take from the fight (excluding from K’ril) is from the range minion.
• You always wanna start on this tile and run 2 tiles to the east to off-tick the ranger/mager ➔
