Notes:
• It’s recommended to camp MSB until Jad. If you do not feel comfortable and rather have the bit of defence, you can rcb where necessary in waves 31-62
• For Jad it is recommended using RCB, and when the healers proc, you can tag them with your msb.
• Diamond bolts(e) ➔ Broad bolts.
• The green beer is a Lizardkicker and can be bought in Shayzien and acts as a weaker ranging potion for Jad.
• Adjust your gear accordingly:
God D’hide boots ➔ Shayzien boots ➔ Snakeskin boots.
Crystal shield ➔ Granite shield ➔ Book of Law.
Barrows gloves ➔ God D’hide vambs ➔ Dragon gloves.
Karil’s Crossbow ➔ RCB ➔ MSB.
Other Information
• Jad spawns in set rotations based on the in game time. Rotation 5 is generally regarded as the best rotation to learn although 2 is also viable.
• Fight caves is largely about memorizing and positioning. Learning a specific rotation is the fastest way to get much better times.
• The best weapons in fight caves are Tbow+bp ➔ bofa+bp ➔ Bp ➔ RCB+Msb.
• You may take prayer gear in any of these setups at the sacrifice of some dps -The best switches would be Ring of the gods (i) ➔ Suffering (i) ➔ Blessed Boots -> Range Cape
• Thralls is slightly better than veng and death charge for blowpipe specs is very useful.
• For first cape attempts it is suggested you bring ancient spells to give yourself as much food as possible.
• Always pray against the mage if it is alive first as the melee and the ranger are both fairly inaccurate.
• Note that italy rock (the wall on the eastern side of the fight caves) is useful for learners to use to avoid damage as anything that spawns south and east will get stuck around the rock. You should stand to the north east of the fight caves (near the door) to utilize italy rock as best as possible.
