Ironman Giant Mole – Gear Guide – OSRS

Setup 1

Osmumten’s fang

Arceuus – Death, Blood, Soul, Law (Death Charge)

Notes:

• Voidwaker ➔ Dragon claws ➔ Bgs/Fang Specs.

• Since the Voidwaker special has 100% accuracy it will help you finish the kill with less digs at < 110hp.

• At ~32 hp left, just use Fang to finish the kill.

• If you’re using claws, always start the kill with a Dragon claw spec as you don’t want to claw spec mole past 110 hp to counter multiple digs.

• If you’re planning to do a long trip you can preplace your cannon to bring more supplies.

• If you don’t have a max cape, you can pick up Law runes that mole drops during your trip and that way teleport to respawn once you have to bank for a quick bank teleport. (if edge or ferox is your respawn)

Setup 2

Twisted bow

Setup 3

Bow of faerdhinen

Setup 4

Dharok’s

Arceuus – Death, Blood, Soul (Death Charge)

Other Information

Notes:

• If you have neither Osmumten’s fang or Twisted bow, you can use Tumeken’s shadow ➔ Dharok’s ➔ Bofa.

• BGS and Claws result in similar DPS as a special attack weapon when using Dharoks, however, BGS will result in less hits on average to kill the boss reducing the kill times due to digs.

• Take Dragon Claws ➔ Dragon Dagger (unpoisoned) if you do not have a BGS or Voidwaker.

• Switch to the more accurate weapon for the last ~45 hitpoints if you are using melee on mole (rapier).

• When re-divining, use your locator orb to redemption your hitpoints back up until you get a shark drop.

• Reminder to unload cannon when Giant Mole is lower hitpoints (<110hp) for less chance of him digging.

Advice/Info:

• Rune pouch can be used for alchs if you don’t bring death charge, or it can be used to hold runes dropped by mole. The difference is minor.

• You will need a light source (unless you have lit the eternal light).

• It is highly recommended to wait until you have completed the Falador hard diary.

• If you want to use a spec weapon with ranged you can either use a low melee switch BGS or the Zaryte crossbow with dragon bolts(start of the kill)

• If you choose to bring a spec weapon with ranged you can also camp the Lightbearer.

• Cannon should always be set on the tile labeled “Cannon”. If you stand on tile “4” you will double hit mole with the cannonballs every rotation.

• Tiles 1-4 can be used to lure mole. If timed correctly you can hit mole on every tile as the cannon rotates.

• Reminder to unload cannon after every kill. See video below for a better understanding.
