Standard setup
Ancient – Blood, Soul, Death (Blood Barrage)
Notes:
• Max cape is brought to get to the cave and teleport out after a task, instead you can take an extra restore, swap pet rock for Fremennik Sea Boots, and teleport up using Fremennik Sea Boots, get a pet rock from Askeladden and then use the boat north to travel to the island.
Setup 2
Cave Hopping
Ancient – Blood, Soul, Death (Blood Barrage)
Notes:
• This setup requires you to be able to preserve prayer usage, and prayer flick against at least 2 Dagannoth Kings.
• Juggle supplies to save a Inventory space for getting to DKs.
Setup 3
Early Game Solo Rex
Normal – Fire, Death (Iban’s Blast)
Notes:
• Some people like to go for a berserker ring before starting the slayer grind.
• Bank at Lunar Isle and talk to one of the NPC at the bank to get kicked off the island then take the boat north to travel to Waterbirth Island. You can also have your house set to Rellekka to travel to the island.
• Super antipoison can be picked up at the Observatory Dungeon entrance near castle wars.
• You should pray mage, hop up and down the ladder until prime and supreme do not target you and run along the south side of the cave towards Rex to safespot it at the south east side.
• Alternatively you can run to the safespot with Prime or Supreme on you, and X Log with the correct prayer and full prayer points.
Other Information
Advice/Info:
• Trident can be taken instead of Sang.
• Weapon downgrades:
Range: Twisted bow > Blowpipe Mage: Sanguinesti Staff > Trident of the Swamp > Trident of the Seas > Iban’s Staff Melee: Scythe > Inquisitor’s Mace > Rapier > Tentacle Whip > Abyssal Whip
• The Spinolyps in the room roll against your range defense, so you should have your highest range defense bonus gear on when waiting for respawn.
