Grid Master Points – Tasks – Rewards – OSRS

Grid Master is an upcoming community event launching on October 15th, 2025 and running for four weeks. Grid Master will be a temporary game mode where players will start with fresh accounts to complete tasks presented in a 7×7 bingo grid. Completing any full row or column of the grid will give the player certain rewards to help with completing additional tasks.

Overview

Grid Master will be a bingo-based community event. Players will compete to complete tasks presented to them in a 7×7 grid. Completing any tasks will accumulate Grid points for use in purchasing rewards on the main OSRS worlds, and completing any full row or column will give players rewards for use on the Grid Master community event worlds. Grid Master will be accessible both by members and free-to-play players, who will be able to complete a small selection of tasks.

Event-specific worlds will have accelerated experience gain.

The bingo grid system is intended to be polled for implementation within the main game worlds as well. Players would be able to design their own task lists and share with others[3].

Tasks

Some tasks will be revealed before the start of the event, currently none are known.

Grid Master was announced with a teaser trailer, showing a player with a bingo card with the following symbols on it:

  • Gnomeball
  • Cabbage
  • Pickaxe
  • Oathplate chest
  • Invocation
  • Rainbow boots
  • Fire cape
  • Awakener’s orb
  • Scurrius

Though still unconfirmed, it is possible some, if not all of these, are related to tasks that will be present in the final set of tasks.

In the teaser trailer completed tasks are shown to turn green on the player’s bingo board. At a later point in the video, the squares with the fire cape and oathplate chest turn red after the player is defeated by TzTok-Jad and Yama respectively, possibly indicating some challenges may not be attempted more than once.

Rewards

Completion of tasks will accumulate grid points which players can use to purchase cosmetic rewards on the main servers. The proposed rewards, to be polled at a future date, include a tabbard with multiple color variations, a cosmetic allowing players to wear swords and shields on their back also coming in various colors, and a cosmetic for Marble incense burner in player owned house making the in-home chapel appear similar to that of the login screen.

Players can redeem grid points for rewards at a planned dedicated rewards shop, similar to how League rewards operates. Grid points will be earnable in future community events as well.
