Sailing Pets
As promised, we would like to offer the community the opportunity to vote on what pet you’d like for Sailing. Without further ado, take a look at our options:
Poll Question: Which option for the Sailing pet do you prefer?
We’ve seen suggestions for the Sailing pet to swim alongside your boat. It’s a really fun idea! That said, we want the Sailing pet to feel like a traditional skilling pet, in line with the others already in game. This means we want you to be able to show it off anywhere, not just while you are out at sea.
For that reason, the pet is designed to follow you onto your boat rather than swimming around it. While we would love to explore swimming animations in the future, that won’t be possible in time for launch. Instead, each option we’ve picked works both on land and at sea.
The current pet options are final, but we’re still open to hearing your thoughts if there is anything you’d like us to refine. Ultimately, it’s up to you to choose which one makes the cut, so let us know what you think!
